Dear Parents/Students, Welcome to jrotc/health science
My name is Ms. Briseno, and I am honored to be assigned as your student's JROTC instructor/health teacher for this school year. I am looking forward to a very exciting and productive year. I've had the pleasure of teaching at Don Lugo H.S. for the last ten years as a health teacher, and as a Junior Reserve Officer's Training Corps (JROTC) instructor. Prior to coming to Don Lugo I taught JROTC with the Los Angeles Unified School District for eight years. I am currently in my second career as I served in the Army for 20 years as an Intelligence Analyst prior to teaching. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Cross-Cultural Teaching and have teaching credentials in JROTC and in Health Science. Additionally, I hold a Credential in Administration. I speak fluent Spanish and some German.
